Protecting Nature Valley - A Journey of Habitat Care and Discovery
On a bright and sunny Saturday, Gemtek colleagues visited the Nature Valley Environmental Trust to take part in a journey that combined habitat conservation with a hands-on craft experience. In the morning, we walked along the nature trail, working together to remove Mikania vines (Mikania micrantha), a fast-growing invasive species commonly known as the “mile-a-minute weed” or “plant killer.” In just a few hours, the team cleared 63.5 kilograms of vines, helping the land recover and giving native plants a better chance to grow and thrive.

Plastic-Free Oceans: Join Us for a Beach Cleanup
On September 20, International Coastal Cleanup Day, Gemtek teamed up with Taiwan Union Technology Corporation (TUC) for a beach cleanup at Xinyue Beach. Under the hot sun, volunteers of all ages worked side by side, bending down to uncover hidden litter scattered across the shore and removing debris from the sand.

Tech-Driven Fitness at Work: Smart Fitness for a Healthy Workplace
Gemtek’s Taiwan Headquarters hosts annual technology-assisted fitness programs that integrate smart technology with physical exercise to promote employee health and enhance workplace performance. The goal is to encourage employees to stay active, even during busy work schedules, through data-driven workouts that produce measurable, science-based fitness results. This year, the program attracted 167 enthusiastic participants who used smart wearables, underwent fitness assessments, and took part in exercise challenges. These activities helped employees gain a better understanding of their personal health and encouraged them to build consistent exercise habits, contributing to a healthier and more energetic workplace culture.

Passing On Love Through Books —— Donate Second-Hand Books to Support Sheltered Employment
Gemtek Technology joined hands with the Ai Heng Independent Living Center to launch the “Passing on Love Through Books” second-hand book donation campaign, inviting all employees to take part. A total of 263 well-preserved books were collected and delivered to the sheltered workshop, giving each book a new home filled with love.

Gemtek Technology - A Visit from The Garden of Mercy Foundation
On July 28, Gemtek welcomed a group of young visitors from the Garden of Mercy Foundation. To make their visit memorable, we arranged a series of engaging and fun activities. The day began with a tour of the company floor, where their eyes lit up with curiosity at every turn. This was followed by a lively group activity that filled the office with laughter. The visit concluded with a playful challenge at the convenience store, where the children learned the joy and skills of making their own purchases. Throughout the event, our volunteers stayed by their side, offering guidance and encouragement to help them feel confident and cared for.
