Plastic-Free Oceans: Join Us for a Beach Cleanup
On September 20, International Coastal Cleanup Day, Gemtek teamed up with Taiwan Union Technology Corporation (TUC) for a beach cleanup at Xinyue Beach.
Under the hot sun, volunteers of all ages worked side by side, bending down to uncover hidden litter scattered across the shore and removing debris from the sand.
After a morning of hard work, the group collected all kinds of waste, including bottles, cans, bits of Styrofoam, fishing nets, and even rusty old chairs. By the end of the day, Gemtek participants had gathered a total of 83.2 kilograms of trash. Looking out at the clean beach and the deep blue sea, everyone’s hard work turned into smiles, making the day’s efforts truly rewarding.
