On a crisp morning, a group of Gemtek employees headed toward the scenic Yoga Farm. Guided by the farm owner and a dedicated team from the Greenbox Foundation, our colleagues gained a deeper understanding of the importance of environmental sustainability and social responsibility. Led by the farm owner, we ventured into fields where eco-friendly crops are grown, pitching in to weed the fields so the rice plants could thrive. This hands-on experience gave us a new perspective on the hard work behind farming and reminded us to savor every meal we enjoy. In the afternoon, we visited Lohas House at the An-Con Mental Retardation Training Services Institution, where we joined the residents in a fun, creative canvas bag painting activity. Our colleagues assisted the residents with unwavering patience, helping them bring their imaginative designs to life. When the artworks were complete, everyone’s faces lit up with smiles, and many residents shared their joy and creative ideas in a flurry of excitement. As the event came to a close, we donated selected supplies to the care home, offering practical support and care to the residents, while also creating meaningful memories together. A heartfelt thank you to all the colleagues who took part and supported this event! We look forward to seeing everyone at our next gathering!

The birth of every new life is a grand celebration! At Gemtek, we hosted our first Mom and Baby Classroom event, inviting professional parenting instructors to provide childcare advice for pregnant employees and new parents with children aged 1 to 3. To support our employees as they adapt to their new, busy lives, our General Manager, Mr. Li, presented each individual with a basket of thoughtfully chosen nursing and postpartum parenting supplies. We also plan to hold Parenting Classroom sessions regularly to offer continuous support for all child-rearing employees. Our goal is to help every parent raise their children healthily while experiencing the life journey with joy!

Gemtek has recently been awarded the Silver certification by the globally renowned sustainability assessment organization, EcoVadis. This achievement marks a notable milestone for our longstanding dedication to the four pillars of sustainability: environmental protection, labor and human rights, business ethics, and sustainable procurement.

Located on the western coast of Zhubei, this beautiful crescent-shaped beach is a popular destination in Hsinchu. Unfortunately, the beach faces significant waste dumping issues that endanger both the local ecosystem and visitor safety. In support of the United Nations Convention on Biological Diversity and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Gemtek is dedicated to protecting coastal environments and promoting biodiversity. Moving forward, we will encourage our employees to engage in regular beach clean-up efforts to help preserve Taiwan's invaluable coastal ecosystems.

In March, Gemtek brought together a team of volunteers and invited families to join the Syinlu Foundation's "Step by Step, Towards a Better Day!" event. Walking alongside individuals with disabilities, we participated in various fun games and activities, building a strong sense of inclusive connection. Under the theme "Smile for the Olympics, Bloom with Strength," the Syinlu Foundation encouraged everyone to embrace the spirit of the Summer Olympics and Paralympics, transforming the walk into more than just an event. It became an opportunity to break down barriers and foster a meaningful sense of love and connection.
